Absolutely yes! The problem is that I cannot play anything from YouTube in my school. There must be a way around this and I think I have the solution. I will embed the YouTube videos that I want to watch in my Windows Live site. I am not sure this...

I think this is awesome. My favorite part of livetext is that it has those videos and other great things you can actually use in the classroom. I know one teacher that does "movie Monday" in his classes if everybody passes the quizzes he gives. He...

I love to teach! I have been a preschool director, a fifth grade teacher, and now a college professor. Who knows - maybe next I'll work in a retirement center! I have a great husband, three wonderful grown daughters, and a beautiful two-year-old grandson. Technology is my passion... perhaps because I love having all the information of the world available at my fingertips. In my opinion there has never been a better time to be a teacher - or a learner!
Do you have a class Website?

What other ways is your real name associated with teaching on the Web?
I still get some Google hits for some activities I did with my fifth graders seven or eight years ago!

Greetings from NECC 2008

Hello from San Antonio!
I am so excited to be attending (and presenting at) this conference. After registering today, I realized what an amazing opportunity this would be for any educator. I can't wait to see what the next two days have in store. After looking through the sessions being offered, it's going to be difficult to decide where to go when.
Tomorrow morning, the new ISTE standards for teachers will be revealed! That news will have a huge impact on how and what I teach!

If you check out some of the headlines I have added to the photos section, you will see that teachers are losing their jobs because of inappropriate content related to their names on the Internet. This site was created as a space for teachers to share positive professional information, so when future or current employers search for their names, the results will include positive, profession… Continue

Hey Dr. Wall! I have been meaning to sign up for teacher pop since EDUC 2100 but now never got around to doing it until I have to. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I have had a great semester, and although it's been hectic at times, I have really enjoyed this class. I have really learned a lot. Thank you.

Dr. Wall, I am leaving you a comment for my APSU 23 things. I noticed that Dudley also had trouble creating a Ning badge also. I do not know if it was my computer or if I just was doing it wrong, but I also could not make one. I think that the TeacherPop network is a very good idea, and plan on using it often in the future.

Well, I am leaving a comment on your blog. I have uploaded my photo to my page. I tried to create a Ning badge, but could not get it to work properly. Therefore, I decided leave a post on your blog. I have been a member since last fall, but haven't really used it until now. Another good educational tool for teachers to use when we face classroom difficulties and when we want to share our classroom achievements.

Dr. Wall, I'm coming back to APSU for my Ed.S. this spring. Do you teach any Ed.S. courses? Also, would I be elligible for the Ireland trip? I am deeply interested in international curriculum.

Yesterday was a great day! Thank you for all of your help with my project. I have emailed two tech people with the State and am trying to locate Sumner County's tech people. Where can I post it on TeacherPop?
