Students will work in teams and use the internet to investigate an event from the ancient world. They will gather information as reporters and synthesize their findings into individual newspaper articles.
Letterpop allows you to create and share newsletters and is easy to use. The free version will allow you to upload 25 pictures and create a total of 25 newsletters a year. Students can use this program to create their newsletters and share then with others. I would also try to incorporate a desktop publishing site as a backup plan.
