My Dog!

This is Fsii (pronounced Fizzy). She is named after a lab test that is performed on fuel. Hubby picked her out and named her and she became mine.

I had no idea that TeacherPop even existed till I started the 23 things project for my Education 3040 class, but this site is really wonderful.  This is a great way to get in touch with other teachers are share ideas and discuss educationally related things.  I'm so glad that we were giving the 23 things project I have learned so much about educational technology since starting this class.  I feel like this TeacherPop site will be very beneficial to me in the future and I'm glad I was given…

I am navigating through this site. I think it is good to have a place where I can bounce ideas. I work in a small private school; so I don't have to many co-workers. Generally my mentor, who also doubled as my boss, was a good resource. (May she rest in peace) I look forward to using this site to ask questions, discuss ideas, and use the feed back I hope to get in a positive manner.

Excellent!

Communication is very important between teachers, students and parents. Private social networks like Ning can make this possible. I could really see myself using this resource.

TeacherPop seems like a great resource for teachers to use.  This sight seems to me like many social sites wrapped up into one.  I like that not only can I post blogs (and search for specific blogs using tags), but I can also post pictures and videos that pertain to different teaching strategies or standards.  I also enjoy that I can find many of my classmates on this site--and one day my future colleagues.
